Privacy policy
This policy explains how information is handled when you use this website, contact Just A Pup Training, or interact with connected services.
1. Who we are
Just A Pup Training provides dog-training education and related services. The website address is justapuptraining.com. Privacy questions can be sent to [email protected].
2. Information you choose to send
The inquiry form included with this website does not submit information to a website database. It creates a summary in your browser and opens your email application. Information is transmitted only when you choose to send the resulting email.
An inquiry may include your name, email address, optional phone number, your dog’s name and age, training concerns, bite-history disclosure, preferred format, and the message you write. Do not send payment-card information, passwords, government identifiers, or complete veterinary records through the general inquiry form.
3. Information generated by hosting
The hosting platform may process technical and operational information needed to deliver, secure, troubleshoot, and measure the website. ChatGPT Sites may provide aggregate traffic information such as page views and unique visitors. Review the hosting provider’s current privacy terms and data controls for additional details.
4. How information is used
- To respond to inquiries and determine whether a service may be a suitable fit.
- To communicate program details, availability, policies, referrals, and next steps.
- To provide services and maintain business records when you become a client.
- To protect safety, prevent misuse, and comply with legal obligations.
- To improve website content using aggregated or non-identifying information.
5. Legal basis and consent
Where applicable, information may be processed with your consent, to take steps you request before entering a service agreement, to perform a contract, for legitimate business interests that do not override your rights, for safety, or to meet legal obligations.
6. Service providers and disclosures
Information may be processed by providers used for email, hosting, scheduling, payment processing, document signing, client management, or other business operations. Providers receive only the information reasonably needed for their role and are subject to their own privacy and security terms.
Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect a person or animal from serious harm, investigate misuse, enforce agreements, or complete a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.
7. Affiliate links, product data, and retailer tracking
The Recommended Products section may contain affiliate links. When you open one, the retailer or affiliate network may receive technical information such as the referring page, browser or device details, an affiliate identifier, and information needed to attribute a later purchase. Their collection and use of information are governed by their own privacy notices and consent tools.
Product names, images, prices, availability, and destination links may be refreshed from an approved retailer API, affiliate-network feed, or permitted structured product-page metadata. Credentials used for those connections should be stored as hosted secrets and never exposed in public website code. Just A Pup does not process payment-card information or complete retail transactions on this website.
When aggregate affiliate-click measurement is enabled, this site may record the product identifier, retailer, product category, page path, and time of the click. The default implementation does not add a client name, email address, payment information, advertising identifier, or cross-site behavioral profile to that event.
8. Veterinary and professional collaboration
When collaboration with a veterinarian or another professional is appropriate, we seek the client’s authorization and use a suitable method to share only the information needed. The public inquiry form is not a medical-record portal.
9. Retention
Personal information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, legal and tax obligations, safety documentation, dispute resolution, and legitimate business records. Information is deleted or de-identified when it is no longer needed, subject to applicable requirements.
10. Security
Reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures should be used to protect information. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure. Use multifactor authentication, limited staff access, updated software, secure record-sharing tools, and tested backups.
11. Children
This website and service inquiry are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13 or the applicable age of digital consent. A parent or legal guardian should manage service inquiries involving a child.
12. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or information about how personal data is used. You may also withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis. Contact us to make a request. Identity verification may be required.
13. External links
This website may link to third-party resources. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when website features, providers, or business practices change. Material revisions will be published here with a new effective date.
